You haven't heard from me in forever and a day since I have been dwelling at [info]megoobietoo. It's really reserved for a few people (school friends, etc.), but I wouldn't mind a few friend requests. Don't get upset if I don't add you, though! You probably will not want to read, anyway, seeing as I reference events and people that are unknown outside a certain circle.

But, I really love y'all... really. So, please drop me a line if you want!

So, guess what? Brenden got himself a LiveJournal. I cannot remember if it's "Friends Only" or not, but you can check! He's [info]jiggerjaw.

And also...

There are others for which I need to make videos.

18: Current worry: Math and if I am going to finish it in time. Also, if I have lost my rational mind because I am not doing said math.

79: Are you for world peace: Of course.
80: Are you a health freak: A little bit. But, I'm not too bad.

Your result for The Color Code Test...

Color Code: BLUE: The Social Butterfly

BLUE NEEDS: To be good (morally), To be understood, To be appreciated, Acceptance.

BLUE WANTS: To reveal insecurities, Quality, Autonomy, Secuirity.

SUMMARY: Blues are motivated by altruism. They love to do nice things for others. they look for opportunites to give up something in order to bring another person happiness. selflessness rather than selfishness is their guiding philosophy. Blues seek intimacy. They want to be loved and to love. A true blue will sacrifice a successful career to improve an important relationship. Blues crave being understood. They are gratified when they are listened to, when they feel understood and appreciated. Blues may have thier hearts broken more than most people, but they also spend much more time in love. Blues are directed by a strong moral conscience. They have a moral code that guides them in their decision making, their value judgements, and their leisure time. A blue would rather lose than cheat. All in favor of putting Andrew Lloyd Webber to sleep, say "aye". I think that it would be best to mercy-kill him before he incurs the certainly considerable wrath of the ghost of Gaston Leroux... which, I have decided, will come in the form of a highly pissed Erik.

It would be the right thing to do. No one wants to encounter a highly pissed Erik.

See, the man is quite obviously insane. He was good once but, then, he decided to cast a hottie hot hottie as a deformed recluse. And, now, it has come to this. Click on "this", by the way. My layout doesn't highlight links.

And the synopsis...

As for "Phantom . . . Once Upon Another Time": It's set in 1906 in Coney Island. The Phantom, having fled Paris, is running a freak show. At night, he crawls into his lair and makes love to an automaton that looks like Christine.

Christine, meanwhile, has become a famous opera singer. But she's fallen on hard times because her husband, Raoul, has squandered their fortune. So she's accepted a high-paying gig from a mysterious impresario to open a new amusement park. On her first night in New York, she draws back the curtain in her hotel suite and comes face to face with her new employer - flash of lightning, crash of chords - the Phantom!

Christine has a child, Gustave, but is his father Raoul or the Phantom? I can't tell you because no one's seen the second act yet.

But I can tell you that Raoul, who was so handsome in "The Phantom," is now a drunken wreck.

At first, I thought this was a joke. You know, someone making fun of crack!phics... or something.

But, I was wrong. Oh, so very terribly wrong. This is our POTO sequel.

So, just for the record...

Guess what?

All of you are invited to Shots in the Dark's production of Woody Allen's Don't Drink the Water this Friday and Saturday at The Columbus Academy. The curtain opens at 7:00 P.M. and closes at 10:00 P.M.

Ooo... look at our shiny logo made by Chelsea, [info]sunflower0986!

It will be spectacular. You know what will make it even more spectacular? The fact that it is a free show! We do, however, encourage donations as this is an independent, student production.

I shall be playing Ms. Burns, the secretary. It's not a big role, but that is fine by me. I am content watching my friends act like imbeciles in front of an audience. I'm joking, of course. I love you wacky, talented kids.

Also, could all of you do me a favor? Could you all please laugh like immature teenagers when Brenden (playing Walter Hollander) says his "I enter and I stay" line? I want to see how he reacts.

Thanks so much.

OMIGOSH. Yesterday, I got a tattoo of Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night on my ankle. I have been planning this for quite some time. There will be pictures in a month or so when it is all healed and touched-up and pretty. More details to follow tomorrow night. I have a sleep study this evening.

But, do discuss. I have conservative Brenden slightly freaked out. *rolls eyes* Buha.

Because I do, in fact, prefer not to bludgeon you to death with my personal issues.

Do you sleep in your bra?
Only when I accidentally fall asleep in my clothing.

Do you enjoy drama?
Not particularly. I do like theatre, however.

Are you a girly girl?
I do not really think so. I like dressing up quite a bit and am very stereotypically girly in a lot of things (e.g. I love sappy romances). But, at the same time, I think I'm more guy-ish than a lot of girls in my sense of humor and attitude towards threatening things... if that makes any sense.

Small or big purses?
Big purses, always. I need to carry my books and kitchen sink, don'tcha know?

Do you think you’re paranoid?
Sometimes, when I get worried about what people are thinking.

Did you dress up on Halloween?
I do not celebrate Halloween.

Are you double-jointed?
Nope, thank the Lord! I would freak myself out.

Where is the weirdest place you have slept?
You know, as much as I sleep, I should have an excellent answer to this question. I just cannot remember! The only experience that comes to mind was my night on an airport cot. I thought it very artistic, for some reason. My imagination... *gestures in air*

Last person you hung out with?
Night of Mayhem, foo'!

Do you call anybody by their last name?
Multiple people, actually. Wooster, Shoup, Paulson... there are many more, I am sure, but my memory is obviously bad this afternoon.

How many guys will read this just because it says "Female Survey"?
Probably not too many.

Do you wear makeup?
Sometimes.

Ever cried at a movie theater?
Of course! I have also begun to laugh hysterically at myself for crying so much in public. Those times are the best; the protagonist is dying and some lunatic is laughing her head off.

Can you put on mascara without opening your mouth?
Yes.

Do you think Ryan Sheckler is cute?
Meh?

THIS OR THAT:

Eyeliner or Mascara?
Mascara.

Louis Vuitton or Dooney?
I only know of one of those brands. And, I dislike it. I would rather buy books with that money.

American Eagle or Hollister?
Neither! I am not-so-much into the preppy look.

Heels or flats?
Flats.

Skirts or Jeans?
Skirts, as of late.

Socks or leggings?
Leggings are cooler.

Hoodies or jackets?
Hoodies.

Straight or curly hair?
Straight, probably. But, I think that curly hair is gorgeous.

Hoop or dangling earrings?
Dangling.

Do you prefer light or dark-haired guys?
Okay, for all of these preference questions, I do not have a real answer. Looks do not matter so much to me. But, I shall answer them, okies? Okies. In this case, I would say dark-haired guys. Like Edward.

Are you currently frustrated with a guy?
I am currently frustrated with myself.

Do you have a best friend?
Yes.

Have you ever thought of having plastic surgery?
Not seriously.

Do you like your life?
I am overall quite happy. It is not the life I want, though. I must keep in mind that many have it a lot worse.

Do you like anyone right now?
Brenden.

Ever walked into the guy's bathroom?
Yes.

Have you ever jumped in the pool with your clothes on?
Possibly.

Have you ever slapped a boy in the face?
No, I do not think so. I am not assertive enough to do anything close to that.

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Indeed.

Have you ever not been able to get someone off of your mind?
Unfortunately.

Have you ever had a good feeling about something?
No, I have never ever felt good about anything ever. Psh.

Do you ever wish you were famous?
It would be nice to be widely respected. For instance, it would be great to be a best-selling novelist who stays true to her vision.

IN A BOY:

Cowboy or Gangster
Like... an original gangster, perhaps. Not someone with insanely over-sized clothing.

Preppy or Punk/Goth?
Punk/Goth. Not the fake kind, though.

Contacts or Glasses?
Glasses.

Funny or Serious?
Funny... and serious.

Cute or hot?
Hot.

Long Hair or Short Hair?
Short hair, generally. But, if you can pull off long hair, please do so.

Good Dancer or Good Singer?
Good dancer. Both abilities are really attractive to me, though.

Basketball or football player?
Basketball player, I guess. I do not necessarily care for guys who are really into sports.

Smoker or non-smoker ?
Non-smoker. Smoking, while his prerogative, is stupid and makes his breath smell bad.

Both Rachel and Chelsea have posted about what they want for their futures. Some of these things have been smaller necessities (e.g. "a wall between the kitchen and the dining room") and some of these things have been much bigger (e.g. "happiness"). And, their postings got me to thinking about what I want for my life.

I want to be with the person with whom I fall in love and to never regret a single day. And, I want him to feel the same way about me. This person is preferably gorgeous, romantic, and intelligent. Haha... just kidding. Well, sort of.

I want to write. I need to write. It would be lovely if I became some sort journalist or novelist. But, the important thing is that I continue to value words and never, ever allow my voice to die out.

I do not want to live in a cookie-cutter, suburban house. Sure, I might not get my urban, bohemian abode (like the one in Across the Universe after which I pine). But, I want to live somewhere interesting and, ideally, filled with antiques or other meaningful, unique articles.

I want me and my family to be healthy. Maybe even health nut healthy. I would also really like to live more green. It would be sweet if our house was powered by solar energy.

I want to have kids later in life. I love kids... but, I have too many things that I want to do before I have to take on so much responsibility. Besides, the idea of child-rearing freaks me out. I want to maintain my identity, which I fear will die out (at least somewhat) when I have so much of myself invested in others; call me self-absorbed. Also, I'm worried I'll do a bad job and they won't turn out right.

I want to live in either New York City or San Francisco at some point. I am quite adamant about this and do not care if I am dirt poor. Being my crazy self, I wouldn't mind squatting or what-have-you as long as I could be in my cities. I am sure that such a lifestyle would seem much less appealing once lived. Take my romanticism in stride.

I want to keep my old friends and make new ones. I never want any circumstance to kill off a relationship.

I want an exciting life. I want a happy life. I want to do the right thing... above all else, I want to do that.

So, there you go.

Now, regarding the present: I basically raped, pillaged, and generally devastated the SAT. Even the math section went well. I should probably offer up some sacrifice of thanksgiving to the math gods who so obviously blessed me. I will give them pi (*dodges flying tomatoes*). Also, the writing and reading portions were ice cream. No, not cake. I do not enjoy cake. Ice cream is a much more suitable metaphor. I licked that test.

I think.

Because, you see, whenever I think I've done splendidly on some sort of exam, I find myself greatly disappointed. The results aren't just mediocre; they're horrendous. So, I am going to cross my fingers and hope that my karma pays off.

Oh, and that I'm not completely delusional.

I am currently at the library. I got back from a dentist appointment not too long ago. That went fairly well. And, erm, today I am making a math schedule so that I can complete my pre-calculus course by the beginning of August. I haven't gotten any reply from the parks volunteer program. I think I will give them another call today to see if I can get this going. If it doesn't work out, I will go ahead and work for the library... despite my fears of turning into a vampire and/or getting arrested by said literary stormtroopers.

I suppose that is all for this (unlocked) entry. Toodles!

Currently at the library! I just finished my SAT practice test and am praying to the math gods for some sort of blessing. The writing and reading sections were as easy as could be. My math portion of the test, however, was not quite as splendid. I am exhausted, though, and will probably head home to take a short nap before I continue with my studying.

I emailed the Park Partnership Program in order to set up a volunteering schedule. I want to spend a lot of this summer being outside and active. I think that the sunshine and exercise can only improve my health. Spending all day at the library will just help my vampire-esc qualities (reclusiveness, inactivity, aversion to light) to grow. And, honestly? I can see myself getting distracted while sorting the books. I'll be found reading in the middle of the aisle.

Oh, and did I mention that the library staff probably hates me? I am surprised that I am able to login to the computer system due to my embarrassingly large overdue fines. Ah, well.

I am going to California on August the thirteenth through the twentieth to visit my grandparents. I hope that my family issues do not cause any drama. Lord knows I do not need that a week or so before my senior year begins.

This summer is going to be busy with volunteering, play practices, math homework, and college visits. Oh, and I am volunteering for the teen event of Pride 2008 (June 28th) and will be attending graduation parties all this month.

Not to mention keeping the bloody apartment clean for Nights of Mayhem...

But, I'm so excited. Have a wonderful summer, party people!

I love how I got caught off, there. What I was saying was that the band will probably be composed of Rachel, Jeff, and I, though we may include Chelsea and Brenden for their singing and guitar talents. Brenden plays multiple instruments, actually, and will be a hella fine male vocalist.

Have I come to that point in life where I need to be in a band? Lord have mercy. Anyway, thanks for listening and suffering through my singing, ranting, and numerous "umm"s.
